It is over a Cleveland County Jail phone call that John McGregor finally hits bottom. He hears his daughter on the phone while speaking to his mother during a weekly phone call. “I don’t want to be like this,” is his cry. John realizes his only hope to get out of a longterm sentence is to plead into Cleveland County Drug Court.
Drug Court sees addiction as a disease to be treated. Through a rigorous program of drug testing, accountability, community service, and outpatient treatment, John seeks a second chance at life.
